2. HEALTH
Ibiara Children’s Foundation aims at organizing medical camps each year to do checking and treatment of School going children and Community members. A high number of school going children suffer from Malaria and thus showing us that there is need for medical attention in the rural areas. We are also looking at providing mosquito nets and blankets to the children and supporting rural communities and institutions to access safe and clean drinking water to eliminate water borne diseases hence promoting health.
4. TEENS MINISTRY
Teens Ministry outreach program carried out by Ibiara Children’s Foundation taken from the book of Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”We seek to enrich the future generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ so that they grow up when they are God fearing Children.We adhere to the belief that by providing Children and youth with accurate, non-judgmental information of our Lord Jesus Christ they can make healthier decisions and choices for themselves as they grow up!
AREAS OF FOCUS
1. EDUCATION
Children sponsorship program that is aimed at assisting needy Orphans and Vulnarable children to access education beyond elementary school. The focus is primary school, secondary school and vocational education and exceptional cases for University education. We also support them with scholastic and playing materials to make their stay at school comfortable.
3. EMERGENCY NEEDS
Emergency needs like Food aid which is a crucial part in helping tackle world hunger. Many households in Uganda currently survive on 1 meal a day and in this situation women and children are the most affected. Ibiara Children’s Foundation aim is to provide rations of beans and posho to the elderly who are not able to work their fields, Feed school going Children and Responding to natural calamities.
